What Are You Gonna Do With All That Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is everywhere right now. If TikTok convinced you to buy it – SWEET! But you probably have more than you know what to do with.
I’ve got you. Here’s some easy ideas to get you started. Ingredients are available on Amazon. I’ve included a link to ingredients and tools at the end of the recipes.
These 3 quick recipes use just a few ingredients each. They're beginner-friendly, ultra-hydrating, and perfect for your Serum Maker starter stash.
1. Basic Hyaluronic Acid Serum (2%)
Use: Daily AM/PM for hydrating all skin types.
Ingredients:
0.6g Hyaluronic Acid (HMW or blend)
30g Distilled Water
0.15g Preservative (Liquid Germall Plus)
(Optional: Swap half the water for rose water)
Instructions:
Sprinkle the HA powder across the water’s surface—don’t stir yet.
Let it hydrate undisturbed for 4–8 hours (or overnight).
Stir gently until smooth.
Add preservative and bottle.
Use within 1 week without preservative (refrigerated). With preservative: up to 3 months.

2. HA + Glycerin Glow Drops
Use: Under makeup or sunscreen for dewy, glowy skin.
Ingredients:
0.5g Hyaluronic Acid
25g Distilled Water
5g Vegetable Glycerin
(Optional: 1 drop essential oil for scent)
Instructions:
Hydrate the HA powder in water (overnight).
Stir in glycerin and optional essential oil.
Bottle in a dropper.
Feels lightweight but locks in hydration like a pro.

3. HA-Boosted Mist (Face / Body / Neck)
Use: After cleansing or whenever your skin feels dry.
Ingredients:
0.3g Hyaluronic Acid (LMW works best for a thinner mist)
45g Distilled Water
5g Rose Water or Aloe Vera Juice
0.15g Preservative
Instructions:
Hydrate the HA in distilled water overnight.
Add rose water and preservative.
Shake well and pour into a mist bottle.
Spray on throughout the day for a refreshing hydration boost.
